Privacy, in plain terms.
This site runs no analytics and builds no profile of you. The only personal data it ever receives is an email address you choose to submit to a waitlist, and the only cookie it can set is a short-lived partner-referral credit, described below. Effective July 5, 2026.
What we collect
Almost nothing. Browsing noml.app does not create an account, and unless you arrive through a partner's link (see below) it stores nothing in your browser. The one place you can hand us data is the optional waitlist form, covered next.
Waitlist sign-ups
Noml runs waitlists for products that are not out yet, such as Teams and Sync. If you join one, you send us your email address so we can email you when it launches. That address is used only to contact you about that launch. We never add it to an advertising profile, we never sell it, and the site still sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Ask us to remove it any time and we will.
No analytics or tracking
We don't use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking. We don't build a profile of you, and we have nothing to sell because we collect nothing.
Partner referrals
Some people share Noml through partner links. If you arrive via one, a cookie remembers that referral for 30 days so the partner gets credited if you buy the Suite - that's its entire job. It identifies the referral, not you, and it's processed by Affonso, our affiliate provider. Visit noml.app directly and no such cookie is ever set.
Server logs
Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard request logs (such as IP address, timestamp, and browser user-agent) to keep the site secure and reliable. This is normal for any website and is handled under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Picking your download
To suggest the right download button, your browser tells us whether you're on Mac or Windows. That check runs entirely in your browser and never leaves your device.
Links off the site
Download links, the "Support Noml" donation link (Polar), and our X profile lead to third-party services with their own privacy policies. Once you leave noml.app, those policies apply.
The Noml desktop app
This page covers the noml.app website only. The Noml desktop app runs on your own machine and connects through your own Claude account.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
